Retired life-support technician, twenty-four years on pumps and salt mix

Affiliation first. Then the plant questions.

If you arrived from a search or from an advertisement, start here. I will not bury the only answer that matters under jellyfish trivia.

Are you affiliated with the aquarium or its operator?
No. Toronto Aquarium Ticket Guide is an independent planning guide. It is not affiliated with any aquarium or its operator. We do not sell tickets and never process payments. I am a retired life-support technician with a P.O. box and a set of notes. I do not speak for the operator. I do not staff the door.
Do you sell tickets or process payments?
No. We do not sell tickets and never process payments. There is no cart on this guide. If a creative implied otherwise, it was wrong. Use the operator if you want a timed slot. Use these pages if you want to know whether the slot matches the crush.
I came from an advertisement. Is this a ticket shop?
If you came from an advertisement, this is still an independent planning guide. Still not the operator. Still no checkout. Privacy specifics for ad traffic are on the Privacy page, under that heading.
How long from Union Station?
About ten to fifteen minutes on foot, downtown, toward the lake. Details on Plan Half A Day.
Is Saturday a bad idea?
Saturday noon is a crush. First slot is survivable. Midday with a toddler is how people decide they hate aquariums.
Is the cafe worth it?
The cafe is forgettable. Eat before you walk from Union, or after, somewhere else.
Why is the tunnel slow?
The moving walkway is only as fast as the slowest stroller on it. See The Tanks & The Tunnel.
When is the water clearest?
After overnight turnover, first groups. The Water is the longer answer.
